Project Description
The 9400 South LRT Station Project involved designing a new light rail station platform in a high speed section of UTA’s light rail system in a manner that would minimize service disruptions. The station platform was designed to support a 4-car light rail train and be consistent with UTA’s existing station platform concepts.

SG&A Scope of Work/Challenges
Steve Greene & Associates, as a subconsultant, provided the design management for the Project which included structural, utility, architectural, lighting, landscaping, and civil disciplines. Additionally, extensive coordination with the Utah Transit Authority was required.

Success Story
The Project was designed on schedule and within budget and met the standard of quality expected. Side loading, cantilevered station platforms were designed enabling construction with zero service interruptions.
