Project Description
The Central Mesa Light Rail Transit Extension Project (Project) consists of approximately 3.1 miles of double track alignment extending from the Central/Phoenix East Valley (CPEV) LRT Project’s eastern limits (Sycamore Street) to an end of line station on Main Street between Mesa Drive and LeSueur. The Project tail tracks will extend east to Ashland. The Project includes four stations on Main Street and one park and ride. The track alignment is center-street running with the overhead catenary system poles between the tracks. The Central Mesa LRT Project is expected to be funded using both federal and local funds.
